We are the drama team of Students For Christ in Russia. We make films and stage dramas to preach Christ.

Why we make films

We exist to preach Christ through film and drama.

The SFC National Drama Team began in July 2021, coordinated from the start by Gabriel Chung. We are the drama team of Students For Christ in Russia, making films and stage dramas together.

Regeneration
Stories that call people to new life in Christ.

Hope and healing for the broken and for those who have drifted away.

How it started

The team was born out of a deep desire in SFC Russia to preach the gospel through the theatre arts, above all through drama and film. The first aim was simple: a drama at every SFC camp.

It grew into a film every summer. Released online, those films now reach many people who have never been to SFC, and many beyond Russia.

Students For Christ

Students For Christ Russia is an interdenominational students' campus fellowship that strives to keep students across Russia ablaze for Jesus Christ, serving through evangelism, discipleship and the arts.

01What is SFC?

SFC serves students and staff at colleges and universities across Russia. It reaches students on campus, unites campus ministries for Christ, and trains students to live for God while they study, through evangelism, prayer, Bible study, fellowship and discipleship.

We are a movement of students earnestly following Jesus. We are evangelical in doctrine, charismatic in fellowship. We experience the supernatural.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12

02What we believe

One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in power and glory.
All people have sinned, and are saved only through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit makes us new and equips us to serve. The baptism in the Spirit and every gift of the New Testament are for today.
Christ will return, and the dead will rise: the saved to everlasting life, the lost to everlasting damnation.
Until then, we bring the world to Christ through evangelism and discipleship, and serve everyone in need.
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God: the final authority for faith and life.
The church is the body of Christ, with Christ as its head, living in unity and love.

04How to know Jesus

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But God showed his love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 3:23, 5:8). Salvation is a gift received by faith, not earned by good works (Ephesians 2:8–9).

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

A prayer you can pray

If you are ready, you can pray this prayer out loud:

Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross and rose for me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you Lord, and I thank you that I will spend eternity with you.
