Destiny Child includes sexual assault and the death of a parent. Need to talk?
The story
Born in answer to twenty years of prayer, a student becomes a national sensation after a miracle on the street, until one night threatens everything she was born for.
Abigail was born after her parents had prayed for twenty years, with a word spoken over her life: the child would deliver God's people. Her father died on the night she was born. Now a student in Russia, she prays for a collapsed child on the street, the child recovers, and overnight she is everywhere.
She tops her class, wins the country's biggest student prize and keeps sharing her faith, calling her mother every evening to pray. But Felix, a student who has seen her online, has decided she will be his, and his friend Austin has a plan. Destiny Child is about calling, compromise, and the mercy that restores.
