The story
A young believer receives the power his pastor has only preached about, and his gifts set him on a collision course with the man who trained him.
Charles never misses church. His wealthy roommate Nelson never goes, and thinks Charles should pray less and hustle more. Charles is troubled for another reason: his pastor preaches power, yet no one is healed and nothing changes.
Then Charles is filled with the Holy Spirit. He sees visions, prays for the sick and watches them recover, and soon the church is talking about him instead of the pulpit. His pastor feels threatened, and finds a way to use him. Echoes of Power is about spiritual gifts, pride and bitterness, and about who gets the glory.
